👥 HR & Workforce · State Machine
Every stage of an employee's time with a company: offer, onboarding, probation, active, leave, notice and exit.
Drawing diagram…
Employee lifecycle state machine: candidate accepts offer, joins and is onboarded, then serves probation. After a probation review they are confirmed (or probation is extended or employment ends). An active employee may go on long leave (maternity, sabbatical) and return, move to another role through transfer, or resign or be terminated and serve notice. Exit completes with clearance and full and final settlement.
