Parcel lifecycle state machine for a courier: booked, picked up, at origin hub, in transit, at destination hub, out for delivery, delivered. A failed delivery attempt returns the parcel to the destination hub; the customer can reschedule; after three failed attempts it is returned to origin (RTO) and delivered back to the sender.
