IoT and cameras on a construction site: equipment trackers, concrete sensors, time-lapse cameras and a cloud dashboard.

Construction site monitoring deployment: wireless concrete maturity sensors, GPS trackers on excavators and cranes, and 4G time-lapse cameras on site. A site gateway sends sensor data over LTE to Azure IoT Hub. Azure Functions calculate concrete strength and equipment utilisation, data is stored in Azure Cosmos DB, images in Azure Blob Storage, and a Power BI dashboard shows progress to the project team and owner.

How a building project moves through the local authority: plan approval, stage inspections during construction, and the occupancy certificate.
How a construction site orders materials: site request, quotes from suppliers, purchase order, delivery, quality check and payment.
A platform for running building projects: schedules, site diaries, drawings, RFIs, quality and safety checklists, and billing.
How building information modelling (BIM) data flows between designers, contractors and the owner: coordination, clash detection, quantities and handover.
A daily safety inspection routine on a construction site: checklists, hazard reporting, stop-work authority and follow-up.
