🏢 Real Estate & PropTech · Network
The network behind secure building access: card and mobile readers, turnstiles, lifts, visitor kiosks and CCTV on a separate security network.
Drawing diagram…
Network topology for smart building access control: each floor has door controllers with card/mobile NFC readers; the lobby has turnstiles, a visitor kiosk and lift destination control. Controllers connect over a dedicated security VLAN to the access control server; CCTV cameras connect to an NVR on another VLAN. A firewall separates the security network from the tenant Wi-Fi and building LAN, and a cloud visitor management service issues QR passes.
