Booking a spot in a group fitness class: availability, waitlist, reminders, QR check-in and no-show handling.
Drawing diagramβ¦
Fitness class booking sequence: the member opens the app and books a class. The booking service checks capacity and the member's credits; if full, the member is waitlisted. When someone cancels, the first waitlisted member is promoted and notified. A reminder is sent two hours before. At the studio the member scans a QR code to check in; no-shows are marked after the class and a credit is deducted.
