What happens between a policyholder, the insurer's app, a surveyor and a garage when a car insurance claim is made.

Motor insurance claim sequence: the policyholder registers a claim in the insurer's app with photos and FIR if needed. The claims service validates the policy and assigns a surveyor. The surveyor inspects the car and uploads an estimate. The claims service approves the amount; for cashless claims the network garage repairs the car and the insurer pays the garage directly; the customer pays only the deductible.
