How a remotely proctored online exam runs: identity check, environment scan, the timed exam with AI monitoring, and review of flagged events.
Drawing diagramβ¦
Online proctored exam sequence: the candidate logs in, the proctoring service verifies identity by matching a webcam photo against their photo ID, the candidate does a 360-degree room scan, the exam starts with a timer; answers auto-save every 30 seconds. The AI monitor watches webcam, screen and audio and flags events (second face, looking away, tab switch) to a live proctor who can warn or end the exam. At submission, flagged events go to review before results are released.
