How live online classes are delivered to thousands of students: the teacher's stream, media servers, recording and a CDN for replays.

Deployment for live online classes: the teacher's browser sends camera and screen over WebRTC to a regional SFU media server cluster that relays to students; for very large classes the stream is also converted to low-latency HLS through a CDN. A signalling server manages rooms, a chat and polls service handles interaction, the recording service saves sessions to object storage, a transcoder makes replays, and a CDN serves them.
