How a citizen pays property tax to the city online: property lookup, assessment, payment and receipt.
Drawing diagramβ¦
Property tax payment sequence: the citizen opens the municipal portal and searches for the property by property ID or owner name. The property tax service fetches the assessment, calculates dues with arrears, early-payment rebate and penalties. The citizen pays through the payment gateway (UPI/cards/net banking). On success the treasury ledger is updated, a receipt PDF is generated and shared by SMS and to DigiLocker.
